Shark Vision R

It is claimed that the brand new Shark Vision-R Helmet has the largest eyeport and viewing angle of any helmet on the market. The Shark Vision-R Helmet’s “panoramic aperture” gives it a 125 per cent taller, 110 per cent wider view than a traditional full-face helmet. The Shark Vision R Helmet also features an internal sun visor that drops down to quickly block the sun on the go. A quick-flip switch is also available on the visor for defogging and the Shark Vision-R Helmet is hermetically sealed via the Auto Seal System for soundproofing and reduction of wind noise. The Shark Vision R Helmet is also eyeglass-friendly and ready to be fully integrated with Sharktooth.

Back to biking

Getting back into biking after 30 years … wow how things have changed. Did my homework on what would be a comfortable helmet for touring, before settling on the Shark. Excellent product, little adjustment saw a perfect fit. Wear rimless titanium framed glasses and just slot in with the Easy Fit system. No problem with the sun visor either, but imagine if you have thicker framed glasses could prove a hassle. 

Having tried a few other helmets very pleased with the field of vision, definite improvement on some other touring helmets in the market, at similar price range. My old worry was misting up, but already proved the combination of the vents and anti-mist works well. Only trivial criticism if any, the users manual supplied didn’t match the new version of the helmets. Not a lot to get wrong, but spent a few minutes trying to remove bits of foam for the Easy Fit system, that no longer exist. SportsBikeShop customer
