The RX-7 Corsair was the “flagship” of the Arai collection, when it was a current model. It has since been replaced with the standard Corsair V. The RX-7 Corsair has been considered to be an oval fit in between round and oval. It includes the diffuser ventilation feature, which boasts an impressive 7 vents around the helmet ‘s rim. Also removable for cleaning and/or replacement are the headliner and cheek pads which feature Arai’s Dry Cool wicking material.
From 2003-2008, the RX-7 Corsair model was in the Arai lineup, so the dates on those helmets are within that range, most likely towards the earlier years of that range.
