X-Lite X661

The X-Lite X-661 is the new touring helmet that maintains a distinctly sporty feel. This helmet is available in three outer shell sizes and features air intakes and a rear spoiler, as well as a fully adjustable VPS (Vision Protection System) internal sunscreen. The touring performance internal padding is made of state-of-the-art fabrics, which together with the monoblock cheek pads ensure maximum comfort and consistent performance even over long distances. The helmet also features high-quality finish and reflective inserts, as well as outstanding characteristics common to all X-lite models. Finally, the X-661 is equipped with a DD-ring retention system, and is set up for the communication system N-Com X-Series BX4 Pus.

X-Lite convert

I was looking for a lightweight helmet with a good SHARP rating (4star). Having tried the helmet on in the store and then comparing it to several others. I made the purchase and then have only used it once so far, very comfortable and no fogging up in the wet weather.

 I have always worn Bell helmets, but am very happy with this helmet as it has excellent comfort and gives just enough pressure on my cheeks , without being to tight. The internal visor will be ideal for mid afternoon riding once the weather improves. Alround comfort is excellent and the fit on my forehead is snug and does not leave a mark after riding. Delighted with the helmet, it more than meets my demands. Carbon fiber and kevlar fiberglass (strong insurance and an acceptable weight), sun visor (comfortable, with many positions, go down to the nose if you want so that light does not enter below the eye.

Not perfect but very good

I cannot understand all these negative reviews. I have the carbon version. I now have the helmet for the 2nd season (approx. 15,000 km) and cannot complain, yes it is not the quietest, but I also want to hear something from my moped 🙂 The retention strap work perfectly, the ventilation, visor and sun visor are included. All usable with gloves without restrictions. I deliberately chose this helmet because there was nothing else in carbon and with a sun visor. All in all, I can’t complain. Louis Moto customer
