Description: Shoei Qwest
Touched as a “Universal Touring Helmet,” the Shoei Qwest Motorcycle Helmet was built with an emphasis on light weight, comfortable fit and minimal noise levels to bring a new level of comfort to those long rides. The Qwest Helmet provides a slightly round internal oval shape, a vent configuration that flows tonnes of air in upright touring position and is 1.2DB quieter than the RF-1100 Helmet. The Shoei Qwest Helmet is also approved by SNELL 2010.
With 4 different shell sizes for seven helmet sizes (2XS-2XL), you can get optimal fit without the additional weight and bulkiness that other helmets suffer from. This not only saves size that helps the helmet cut through the wind and reduces buffeting but also saves weight. The Shoei Qwest Helmet uses the CW-1 visor technology provided by the Shoei with the Q.R.S.A system. This system guarantees additional peripheral vision with a tight seal at the faceshield and an extra-wide viewport.
A heavy focus on aerodynamics in the Shoei Qwest has assisted noise reduction. Shoei constructed a completely new state-of-the-art wind tunnel to get an optimal shape. While a number of factors may impact noise levels, the Shoei Qwest has tested to be considerably quieter than other models in development. Sometimes this helmet is termed the Shoei Quest Helmet.
