My 2nd Shoei helmet, the first one saved my head. Good quality and nice looking helmet made from good materials. This lid is slightly noisier than my last (XR1100) for which the NXR is a direct replacement. Ollie G. SBS Customer

Great lid

My first shoei and I love it. Really comfortable to wear, still surprises me how light it is each time I pick it up. Love the design, the picture doesn’t do it justice, just what I was looking for. Only resin it’s 4/5 is because the vents don’t seem to be as effective as I’d have liked. Stampy, SBS Customer

Shoei NXR (Ex Arai Chaser owner)

The manufactured quality is very good and the product in general is well above average. The main issue faced is the very disturbing noise even in low speeds 60-70km as the visor does not seal at the sides. Was told to add silicone or similar material but this is unacceptable for a helmet at this price. Would not recommend comparing to Arai Chaser which had own issues but not that serious and the safety standards are similar. Fragoulis, SBS Customer
