Nolan N90

VPS (Vision Protection System): Short, dark shield mounted on the shell’s inside, moving independently of the shield. It is as thick as a regular face shield when used independently of the clear shield, providing real eye protection. It also comes in light blue, smoke and amber. Easy to operate by a helmet side-slider. Ready for communication system with N-Com. Aerodynamic polycarbonate shell with built-in spoiler for double action Centromatic release system for enhanced stability. Fully removable and washable Clima-Comfort liner for wind-noise reduction on snaps with extra neck-roll. Reflective panels at the liner ‘s back and on the chin curtain. Dual top vent in the rear spoiler and chin bar vents, with exhaust grid. Optically correct, quick-change push button Lexan face shield offers protection against UV 400. Anti-scratch multi-position shield accepts NFR anti-fog insert. Chin curtain, microlock retention system (adjustable), sanitised anti-microbial hypoallergenic interior, and chin-strap velour padding included.

Features work well

The helmet is a very good fit, and the features all work very well. Unfortunately, without ear plugs the helmet is pretty noisy – even at low speeds, I was planning on fitting the N-com system, but with have to re-consider. My only other grumble was that the chin guard in the flip section, while designed to be removable, comes out too readily in use, I had to stop and refit on a number of occasions while touring.
