Built of HIR-TH (High Resistant Thermo Plastic Resin) the MD200 helmet has a removable and washable interior pad with dry comfort and hygienic treatment. The MD200 range has front air intake with rear extractors to optimise comfort and to keep you cool on hot days as well as the flip front design. The MD200 features an internal sun visor with a scratch-proof polycarbonate viewfinder. It has a retention system with micro-metric adjustment to allow quick and easy fastening and removal.

It has its advantages and one of them is that it’s cheap

Beautiful externally and comfortable to operate, it has an elaborate and comfortable interior. Suitable for sporadic, non-intensive use.

The liner is immediately “dropped” on the forehead (it seems to have no constraints!), And the cheeks secured with press studs just could not remove them (to insert the bluetooth headset): it lever slowly, i.e. pull in the direction recommended by the instructions, but they just don’t come, on the contrary the support of the padding breaks. I gave up.

For the rest, the chin guard opens well, the internal visor goes down and goes up well, in short, lights and shadows. If you use it a little it is OK, but if you are motorcyclists switch to another price range. Antonio, Amazon customer

Well fitting, quality helmet

The helmet fits very well and in line with the measurements stated, it does not come up too big or too small. The flip front is easy to manoeuvre even when riding.

The visor is operated by a wheel that you turn, this took some getting used to but once you know where the wheel is again it is easy to operate.

Only down side so far is that you operate the flip front by putting your thumb into a slot and pushing a button, whilst useful for gloved hands, this hole let’s in a larger than normal amount of cold air. This was remedied by wearing a buff whilst riding.

Other helmets such as the Caberg Duke have a different system for operating the flip front which allow in less air, but for the price difference I would say the MDS more than competes if you can tolerate wearing your buff over your nose.

Earplugs are needed but that’s a given for all flip fronts, and should be a given for all riders really. Rated 4 or 5 stars in all safety categories according to Sharp online, it feels as safe as it tested. Overall a great value helmet. Emily, SportsBikeShop customer

Quality helmet, excellent price

I was reluctant to go for a flip up helmet because I was keen on the extra safety of the solid shells. This is my first motorcycle helmet and I really cannot complain. It is solidly built in overall structure and the flip-up mechanism has a strong catch that is not likely to go anywhere.

Visibility is excellent, as you can make use of your peripheral vision. The internal visor is very useful and a strong selling point- (much safer than wearing sunglasses). The vents have a good quality feel to them when you open and close them.

Stylistically, this helmet looks awesome! I will point out that some of the internal plastic fittings in front of the brow area are flimsy and thin, most likely to save weight but nonetheless do their job. Overall it’s a quality product from the top italian brand AGV at an entry level price. Manny, SportsBikeShop customer
