Description: HJC IS MAX 2
HJC’s most popular modular helmet features an integrated one-touch drop-down sun shield with 3 adjustable stages for an individual fit. The Advanced Polycarbonate Composite Shell uses advanced CAD technology to provide a lightweight helmet, with superior fit and comfort. The chin bar, even with gloves on, operates with a single button for quick one-hand release. SuperCool ® Interior keeps the rider cool and fresh, with removable and washable moisture-wicking and antibacterial fabric. The EPS design accommodates eyeglasses and sunglasses for convenience, and has recessed areas for custom speaker placement as well.
What am I supposed to say? Size fits as always with HJC, no pressing or rubbing on the head. I always had good experiences with HJC helmets so far and was not disappointed this time either. Attention to all who buy new.
The helmet sits tighter at the beginning than you are used to from the old helmet, because… it is new (!!!) and the inner upholstery has not yet been completed. That’s what’s going on over time. I’m thrilled. Delivery was fast and safe. Went even faster than stated in advance. Perfect. Mario, Amazon customer
I was really impressed by how comfortable this helmet was. The quick release strap is easy to use and opening the flip front couldn’t be easier, but the helmet is far from perfect. Whilst opening the flip front is easy, I find it’s not as easy to close. Bizarrely, it closes first time when the visor is open, but struggles to close when the visor is closed, go figure.
The visor is quite stiff to operate and it doesn’t close evenly. The sun visor is a great addition, but I don’t like the operation of it. I find myself fumbling around on the top of the helmet trying to operate it, but the one touch retract button is good. Lastly I found it quite a noisy helmet. I have had a couple of flip fronts before (Schuberth and Nolan) but I think this is the noisiest. Overall though, I think it’s a pretty good helmet. Kevin, SportsBikeShop customer
Decent helmet, just needs a little more
Fits good. Blocks air when you don’t want it, but the mouth vent is not the greatest. The top vent also lacks the airflow that I feel it should have, not to say that it doesn’t work. I just felt it would be better. HJC (and all manufacturers) should include a clear pinlock visor with all helmets that can accept them. This one definitely needs it. My final issue is the integrated drop visor. It is a 3 position visor. Might as well be a single position. The second position puts it down where it just touches my nose. The third spot pushes it into my nose hard, and by no means am I Gonzo. But overall, it’s a decent helmet, especially in cooler weather. Wayne, Revzilla customer
