Grex G9.1

G9.1 is the latest full-face Grex flip-up helmet with a sporty, futuristic feel. It is characterised by an advanced ventilation system: front air intakes in combination with the extractor (integrated into the rear spoiler) ensuring excellent internal ventilation. It is equipped with a buckle mechanism for quick release and is ready for use with the Pinlock anti-fog visor (sold separately). The externally operated internal sunscreen (VPS) provides (S / R (Scratch Resistant), and F / R (Fog Resistant Treatment). G9.1 is fitted with a DUAL CONTROL LIFT opening mechanism that is mounted in the middle of the chin guard so that it can be opened with one hand only. Internal comfort padding with latest generation, removable and washable.

Great helmet for the price

Bought this with a little trepidation having never heard of the brand before however have been pleasantly surprised. Feels like a quality product with thick paint coating. It’s nice and light for a flip up helmet. The Dual Homologation is critical as it means it’s legally ‘safe to ride’ with the helmet up. Plenty of ventilation and the sun visor is first rate. It’s quite noisy but then all flip up helmets are; good pair of ear plugs are necessary for preserving your hearing anyways! Disappointingly didn’t come with a pinlock as originally advertised but SportsBikeShop customer have been working to resolve this nice and quickly. Ciaran, SportsBikeShop customer

Great buy

Excellent helmet (quality of padding and inner plastic slightly inferior to Nolan, but the quality/price ratio is definitely spot on). Interesting and curious that concealed sun visor can be used both with open and closed helmet. Ste, Amazon customer

Good fitting helmet

Good fitting helmet, probably one of the best I ever had. Only downside is the wind noise over 50mph, no chin cover so the wind howls straight up to the ears, but then very few helmets pass that test. easily dealt with by using ear plugs. Apart from this small complaint everything else is great, sun visor, vents, strap, fit and look are all spot on. Charlie, Amazon customer
