The chin guard has two individually adjustable air vents for directly driving air to the visor’s inner surface, avoiding misting even in extreme weather conditions. In addition , a wide adjustable frontal ventilation and internal air grooves are guaranteed to ventilate the helmet.

DROID is the result of the experience gained by the first Italian company to produce flip-up helmets; it comes with the dual P / J certification which also allows to ride with the chin guard open, ensuring protection thanks to the P / J lever on the left side of the helmet. This lever blocks the chin guard in the fully open position when in the “J” position, thus avoiding accidental closure.

DROID is equipped with the exclusive Double Visor Tech system that allows you to ride always with the right light and in safety thanks to the easy-to-use interior sun visor.

The inner sun-visor is equipped with anti-scratch, while the outer transparent visor, thanks to the Max Vision Pinlock lens, is not only anti-scratch but also antifog.

The lining is entirely removable and washable, made from the best hypoallergenic and transpiring fabrics to give maximum freshness.

In addition the cheek pads were built to allow glasses to be accommodated. DROID is ready to be equipped with the new JUST SPEAK EVO communication system which allows you not only to communicate with your own mobile phone and passenger, but also to connect to a GPS system and listen to music via your mobile or MP3 player.

JUST SPEAK EVO is equipped with Bluetooth A2DP pro le which enables high quality stereo audio.

DROID is available in Matt Black, White Metal, and Matt Gun Metal solid colours; the HI-VIZION edition with Yellow Fluo shell and Matt Black chin safety. In addition, the graphic versions of BLAZE are available in three colour combinations: Matt Black / Red Fluo, Matt Black / Yellow Fluo and Matt Black / Anthracite, and the new PURE is available in three colour combinations: Matt Black / Antracite / Orange, Matt Black / Anthracite / Blue and Matt Military Green / Anthracite / Blue. In addition, the IRON version is made with a special brushed handmade effect.

Great features, but

Have only worn the helmet a couple of times so far and love the different look and all the features that come as standard including the excellent Pinlock! I do have a slight concern when closing the helmet as I have to slam it shut and still end up with one hand holding the back whilst the other hand then grabs the chin guard to pull down and get it to lock on the right hand side!! T

hought it might be sizing as ordered medium (58) but that was too small so exchanged for large which appears to fit much better whilst still being tight as it should be. I’m hoping over time it wears in, but I am concerned with the locking mechanism at the moment. John O, SportsBikeShop customer

Not worth £190

ell firstly the helmet has been photographed to look like it has a flat visor with flat sides (if that makes sense). but it is actually a box standard rounded visor. The chin strap has very little adjustment so wearing any neck ware is not possible. It is sadly quite a noisy helmet at about 50MPH upwards. It is defently not fog proof as it mists up all around apart from the pin lock insert. So if you didn’t have the pin lock it would be as bad as any other helmet. The chin vents do very little as far as circulation no matter how you adjust them. The sun visor mists even when it is retracted into the helmet and you cannot ride with the clear visor completely closed when it is down as it just completely mists up badly.

On the plus side, it is a comfy helmet that sits nicely. The forehead padding is soft so no red line across your forehead. It is a light helmet and (although noisy) won’t knock you back. I managed to fit my Freecom headset quite easily. The the flip front is quite good too. Over all it is a good helmet BUT I do NOT feel it was worth the money to date. Amazon customer

Good as expected

It is as good as I expected. The quality of the finishing touches is also excellent. But there is something to be desired: My chin touches the guard. The head doesn’t fit well for Asians. It would be nice to have the Sunvisor coming down a little more. FC Moto customer
